Kick-Off Conference & Graduation Ceremony

The EUMERGENCIES Kick-Off conference marks the official launch of our Centre of Excellence. This high-level event features a keynote on EU preparedness and crisis management.

The 2025-2026 Opening Conference and the Graduation Ceremony for the Joint Programmes in European Studies will take place on Tuesday, November 18th at 6:30 PM at the Saint-Louis Brussels campus.

Evening Programme

• 6:00 PM | Welcoming of graduates and guests
• 6:30 PM | Opening of the ceremony
• 6:45 PM | Keynote speech by Hadja Lahbib, European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management: “The European Union in a context of emergencies”
• 7:15 PM | Awarding of the prizes: EUGENDERING and Fausta Deshormes La Valle
• 7:30 PM | Official Proclamation
• 7:50 PM | Reception
