An Annual Award by the EUMERGENCIES Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence
The POLLEN Prize is established to encourage and reward high-quality research on critical EU policy issues. The aim is to recognize the best research paper written by a graduate student enrolled in the Advanced Master in EU Environmental Governance or, if relevant, another master’s programme of the Institute for European Studies.
Overview and Objectives
- Award: The winner receives a prize of €500
- Focus: Papers must address topics related to pressing environmental issues currently faced by the EU.
- Visibility: The winning paper is published on the EUMERGENCIES project website.
- Presentation: Recipients are invited to present their research during the IES graduation ceremony.
Eligibility
The candidate must be a graduate student enrolled in the Advanced Master in EU Environmental Governance (POLLEN) or another IES master’s programme.
Research papers must address topics related to pressing environmental issues that the EU is currently facing.
