Cecilia Rizcallah’s Book Launch The European Union and Human Rights

7 May @ 08:00 - 17:00
Free

We are delighted to share the latest achievement of our colleague and collaborator, Cecilia Rizcallah, who is launching her new book: The European Union and Human Rights: Understanding a Singular Regional Player.

While this event is not an official “EUMERGENCIES” activity, the themes of European law and the protection of fundamental rights are deeply aligned with our shared academic interests. We invite our community to join us for this insightful evening at the Egmont Palace.

About the Book

This open access publication offers a comprehensive analysis of how the EU, as a regional international organisation, contributes to human rights protection within national legal orders. By taking a cross-cutting approach, Professor Rizcallah expertly navigates the intricacies of capacity, nature, and adjudication in the European landscape. It is an invaluable resource for scholars and practitioners in public, international, and European law.
