How can the European Union effectively protect its fundamental values? Our latest seminar, “Activating Article 2 TEU in the Union’s values crisis,” addressed this critical question.

We were honored to host Luke Dimitrios Spieker (Humboldt University) with Cecilia Rizcallah and Teresa Cabrita (UCLouvain Saint-Louis Bruxelles) for a deep dive into the legal mechanisms available to the EU when its core principles are under threat. The session, moderated by Teresa Cabrita, fostered a vibrant exchange with the audience on the future of the rule of law in Europe.
