About the Film: Synopsis
Fleeing war, a Syrian family embarks on a grueling journey to reach Sweden. At the border between Belarus and Poland, they find themselves trapped in a swampy “green border” zone, at the mercy of violent military tactics. They become hostages to a situation where border guards, humanitarian activists, and local populations each play their part in a tragedy that surpasses them all.
Awards & Recognition:
- Special Jury Prize – Venice Film Festival 2023
- Green Drop Award – Venice Film Festival 2023

Why Attend?
This initiative serves as an academic bridge between research and civil society. While integrated into the curriculum for Law and Social Sciences students, it is open to the public and NGOs. It offers a unique opportunity to analyze the Rule of Law crisis through both an artistic and legal lens.
