Biography

Amandine J. Orsini (PhD in Comparative Politics and International Relations from Sciences Po Bordeaux, 2009; née Bled) is Professor at UClouvain Saint-Louis – Bruxelles, Belgium, where she teaches International Relations and International Organizations.

Research

She specializes in global environmental politics and is, among others, Jean Monnet chair EUGLOBALGREEN (2022–2025), and the principal investigator of the FSR-FNRS funded Youth Earth research project (2021–2024) on youth participation in the international negotiations related to climate change, biodiversity, and sustainable development issues.

She is also a member of the EUMERGENCIES research project (2025-2028) and in particular its research package on the environment. Since October 2024 she is FSR research chair Global Cleav-Age (2024-2026) on the project “Global Cleav-Age: Climate and Permanent Diplomacy through the Prism of Age”.
